First time home buyer/builder here. Watch multiple friends and family go through this process with other builders and saw first hand how rough building a home could be. After watching all of these issues first hand, my wife and I were hesitant about attempting to build a home. We swung by multiple different builders before coming to future homes and speaking with Eric about just browsing around. First and foremost, their selection was incredible and we instantly fell in love. Eric and Kenny were so amazing, we started the building process that day, on the spot. Every question or possible hiccup that I've watched other builders struggle with during family and friends builds, Eric any Kenny were transparent and alleviated all stress and made this experience care free. We just moved into our brand new home a few days ago and are loving it. They make building a home easier than any experience I've ever had. The entire process we were kept in the loop with updates and any questions we had were answered timely and took any stress we had away and allowed us to be excited for the entire process. This is the only home builder I will ever recommend to friends and family, or anyone that wants a smooth and transparent experience, lead by a team so professional and friendly that it feels like family. As a first time home buyer, when we first started the process, there was a lot of anxiety and questions about where to begin, what steps to take, and how the entire process worked.

My husband and I walked into Future Homes Hampstead just to take a look around. When we walked in, we were instantly met with kindness from Erick. When we told him we were just looking and not going to purchase anything that day, he just smiled at us and told us whatever and whenever we needed, he would be there. We did end up finding a home we fell in love with that day, too.

Every step of the way Erick and Kenny were there for us. Explaining the steps, processes, and answering ANY questions we had with full transparency. There were a lot of things we opted to pay for out of pocket instead of working into the mortgage, and every step Erick and Kenny would tell us what the best course of action to take would be. They worked with us EXPONENTIALLY in our process from beginning to end. Not once did we feel like we were being pushed or pressured into something. They made sure everything is what WE wanted that fit into our budget. And they took care of almost everything for us!

There were a few bumps in the road, but when those bumps appeared, those guys would reassure us and lay everything out and go through details so we fully understood what was happening and why. They were completely honest and upfront about everything through every step of the way.

We met with Trey Miller today, and he was awesome! We have watched many of his YouTube videos, as we're interested in a modular home and were immediately drawn to his positive energy and personality. He made us feel welcome and valued. His expertise and guidance was top notch. He explained the whole process of how modular homes are built, all the features, options and what to expect from purchasing a modular home as well as land preparation. As someone who has only ever purchased traditionally built houses, this is all a very new and confusing experience. However, with Trey, we feel more prepared to make an educated decision. We hope to be ready soon and look forward to working with Trey and Future Homes of Ocean Isle.

Moving to North Carolina to build our home on property we purchased years ago was very overwhelming until we met Chase Johnson of Future Homes of Ocean Isle Beach. We stopped by the Future Homes office in Ocean Isle Beach in December. We are
from Michigan and we are going to relocate to the area. We were introduced to
Chase Johnson. From the very beginning it was obvious that we would be dealing
with a professional who had our best interests at heart. Chase was also very
attentive and patient with our numerous questions. We are in the process of
lining up our financing but we feel very confident about moving forward with

Future Homes at the Ocean Isle location have been fantastic to work with as we plan our new cottage to be built in 2026. Chase Johnson has been a huge help throughout the process. We have selected the Heartland Cottage that Chase showed us with modifications. Tom Russell incredibly put together our house plan to accommodate all our needs. My husband has a physical disability and the team at Future Homes was able to make our home ADA accessible.
At this point we’ve had to put the project on hold because my husband had to stop working to appeal for disability. Chase is very compassionate, concerned and understanding as we wait for the disability approval. He put us in contact with a Senator he knows to help with the disability application. He has called to check in on us and has kept us encouraged we can get our home built when the financing comes available with the disability approval. Having folks at Future Homes who are patient, professional and kind to support us through this challenge has been very helpful.
Tom Russell has also helped by starting the process with our land, making sure it perked and is ready for our home. He helped us make choices in the design of the home to customize it and keep us in budget. We are confident Future Homes will have our dream cottage built in 2026! Good things are worth waiting for. We highly recommend Future Homes of N.C. if you want a quality modular home as they are the best to work with.

Building our "forever" home felt like an overwhelming task until we started working with the amazing team at Future Homes in Ocean Isle Beach. We stopped in to view the homes they had. We are about 5-6 years out and Tom, the salesman we talked to knew that. He gave us excellent advice on what we should be looking at, how to look at it to make our final decisions down the road. He took his time sitting with us even though they had people walking in that could have been a sale, but never once made us feel like we were a hinderance to him. We believe we have found our forever home with them and we were so very appreciative of all the information Tom gave us. We are looking forward to working with Tom and his team down the road. We had a great experience working with Future Homes to build our house. All of the people we interacted with were very professional and hard working, while also being human. Nate kept me well informed on what was going on throughout the process. Brian did a great job helping us design the home. Andy managed the actual construction smoothly and efficiently. (I felt he treated it like it was his own home he was building.) Kenny walked us through the process with kindness and honesty. And as we settle in, Suellen has been great with getting minor fixes taken care of. When you're taking on this large of a project, you want to feel like you're in good hands. And we certainly did every step of the way. Thanks to everyone!

Southbay Developers, Inc., now Future Homes, finished construction of my home in October 2021. Ken, Keith and Cyndi were all great to work with. The expectations were always clearly discussed and documented. Ken has years of experience as a builder and was always willing to answer my questions and explain next steps. Southbay completed a one year "punch list" where they came out and addressed/repaired anything I found that needed attention. I am very pleased with my home and would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.
